Ironic 這個字幾乎可以說是我大學時期生活的結論。
因為修輔系而上了西洋文化的音樂，因為加入熱音社而聽Rock，因為聽Rock而愛上Alanis，為什麼不是其他人？為什麼不是別首歌？大概就是緣份吧！因為英文老師有介紹她，因為這首歌是同路人在涼亭下回憶，因為她有血有肉有感情有個性，lyrics真實難過，rhyme卻有瘋狂有力；也許更因為我現在也不聽歌了，再也不會再細細地digest 一首歌，只有人生chaotic時期的大學生涯，會不斷找自己的Type。
Alanis的Ironic裡頭是這樣唱的

所以冷眼地去看待一切的美好，但因為想詮譯另一個字而最近再聽時，
發現當我們嘲諷life has a funny way of sneaking on you時，ironic不止在於everything's okay and everything's going right時來個reverse，也會有在everything's gone wrong時help you out，而就算是把好事reverse成壞事當成天經地義時，是不是會對於意外的人生更匆容呢？畢竟ironic就是在你的計畫與變化之間游走，就是天命與人為之間的角力。

Alternative我很早就認識這個字，只是我知道的是alternative rock(另類搖滾)，但我卻不知道他還有二選一的意思，當你在做決定的當下，路就是一直延展的另一種情況了，主動原件的魚與熊掌選擇常發生時，不要覺得困擾，某種程度代表你做得好，兩個男人為你傾倒，代表你夠正有人要，兩份工作等你，代表你能力強夠hot燒，但是選擇的當下要思考，選擇的過後不回頭。
如果人生總是用被動原件來做選擇，比如說數學不好，所以唸文組，所以不念商，所以不做一切與數字有關的事，結果就是你得花好長一段時間來看你從不正眼看的數字，因為它回頭過來找你了(><)。一如之前說過老闆說過的輪迴，你在哪裡跌到，在哪科考差，討厭哪個人，如果你不overcome，總會再以後以不一樣的面孔和你見面(這句話真像鹿鼎記中最後太后對韋小寶說的話)…「再見到你時，一定讓你認不出來」。
